Osborn brushes are ideal for removing fuzzing and loose wood fiber left from pressure washing, chemical stripping or media blasting in preparation for staining. Available in both 4 inch and 6 inch diameter round abrasive cup brushes in either 80 or 120 grit.

Osborn Buffing Brushes should be used with 7” to 9” variable-speed angle grinders or polishers. Even though Osborn Brushes are rated at up to 6,000 RPM, we recommend that they be used at between 1,500 and 1,800 RPM. At these lower speeds, the brushes do a better job of removing loose wood fiber, the brushes will last longer, and there is less chance of burning the logs. Advantages of the nylon filaments in Osborn Buffing Brushes over metal bristles include having less risk of making marks in the logs, and eliminating the risk of leaving rust stains on your log walls. Available in 80 and 120 grit brushes in either 4 inch or 6 inch diameter.
